Chronic Knee Pain

We perform a thorough assessment of all nerve function in the lower extremities, reflexes, muscular control and balance of the lower legs, hip and sacroiliac function and your feet.

At Pro Active Chiropractic Center, we treat a multitude of knee problems! Chronic knee problems are extremely debilitating and tremendously limit the lifestyle of someone suffering from this pain.

Many patients who come to us with knee problems have been told that they need surgery or that they are “bone on bone.” We pride ourselves on being able to help those who consider this a “last resort.”

Many of the knee patients that come to us have struggled with knee problems for a significant period of time. They are considered by some doctors to be the worst of the worst.

We take a wide approach to treating knee patients. It may be true that you have arthritis in your knees or they pop and click when you walk.  But there may be more to your knee problems than the obvious. We perform a thorough assessment of all nerve function in the lower extremities, reflexes, muscular control and balance of the lower legs, hip and sacroiliac function and your feet. All of these factors can play into a knee problem.

After we conduct a full assessment, we will notify you about qualification for our knee program. Your care program may consist of one or more of the following:

  • Cold Laser Therapy
  • Knee alignments
  • Origin/Insertion work on the muscles that cross the knee joint
  • Hip alignments
  • Sacroiliac work

If accepted, our goal of care will be to help you avoid surgery, tremendously decrease or completely eliminate pain, and improve stability and motion. If for any reason we believe that your knee problem is too serious for this program to correct we will tell you that up front.

Dr. Scott Stiffey is a class of his own. His knowledge is to be admired but his kindness is second to none. We co-treated patients with chronic knee pain and degenerative joint disease. Patients couldn’t have been happier with their treatment at his office. His Neuropathy protocol gives chronically debilitated patients a reason to be happy and enjoy living. I most definitely recommend Dr. Scott Stiffey to anyone suffering from joint pain or neuropathy.
